Occupational Therapist

Role Overview

Fixed term for a period of 11 months.

NHS Golden Jubilee provides elective and emergency surgeries to patients throughout Scotland to assist in the reduction of national waiting times.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an innovative and forward‑thinking Occupational Therapy team within NHS Golden Jubilee. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be part of our internal rotation covering orthopaedic pre‑assessment clinic, post‑operative enhanced recovery and complex orthopaedic wards, day surgery unit as well as cardiothoracic surgery and critical care.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills, be driven and able to work flexibly and effectively in a busy and sometimes unpredictable environment.

To support NHS Golden Jubilee’s dedication to providing equitable service to patients, the post includes seven‑day working and late shifts to meet the demands of the service.
