About The Role

Responsibilities include planning and implementing levels of care that give residents security, dignity and independence. You will learn our residents and their families, helping to ensure truly personalised care plans.

Leading a team of Care Assistants, you are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing the rest of the team. Tasks may include teaching a resident how to use a walking frame, helping to prepare meals for end‑of‑life patients, and communicating with families. You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with essential physical and mental stimulation, arrange social activities, and administer medication.

Maintaining accurate records and building strong relationships with colleagues are key responsibilities.

Ideally, you have completed a Level 2 Diploma (S/NVQ) in Adult Social Care and are working towards a Level 3 qualification or equivalent. You should have experience in person‑centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.

Essential qualities are a positive energy, natural interpersonal skills, effective record‑keeping, time management and kindness in communication with residents and co‑workers.
