We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Dietitian to join the Nutrition and Dietetics Healthier Future Team within NHS Forth Valley.

Responsibilities
  • Sustain and develop the Community Food workplan, strengthening skills, knowledge and confidence around food and nutrition in socio‑economically disadvantaged communities.
  • Increase the contribution of Nutrition and Dietetics within prison settings, supporting prevention and early intervention opportunities focused on diabetes prevention, healthy weight, frailty and oral health.
  • Deliver training, develop resources and support workforce and community capacity building to enable sustainable, locally‑led action.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, third sector organisations and community groups to influence food environments and systems.
  • Contribute to training, supervision and practice development within the team, maintaining strong links with NHS public health priorities such as oral health improvement and obesity prevention.
  • Engage a wide range of stakeholders, adapt to evolving service priorities and support the development of the workforce.
Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian with an interest in prevention and early intervention.
  • Strong communication and partnership working skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience or interest in working in prison populations and community food programmes is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving service priorities and support workforce training and supervision.
  • Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
