We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology to join our client’s team in Falkirk, Scotland. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will perform full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology. You will ensure accurate analysis, maintain quality control, and collaborate with clinical teams.
Qualifications and Experience- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Haematology within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with Sysmex XN and Stago and blood film morphology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
