- Undertake adult diagnostic audiology assessments to provide a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s needs.
- Perform pure tone audiometry testing to accurately gauge hearing levels.
- Conduct tympanometry assessments to assess middle ear functions.
- Carry out hearing aid fittings and reviews, ensuring devices meet the specific needs of each individual.
- Manage and monitor patient caseloads to ensure each patient receives timely and efficient care.
- Offer hearing rehabilitation advice and support to patients, enhancing their quality of life.
- Maintain meticulous clinical records and documentation to keep the workflow smooth and efficient.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
- Support the delivery of high-quality Audiology services through active participation and initiative.
- Ensure compliance with professional and departmental standards to uphold the reputation of the service.
- BSc Audiology or equivalent qualification.
- Registered Audiologist or relevant professional registration.
- Previous Band 6 Audiology experience is essential.
- NHS Audiology experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in diagnostic hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing a caseload.
- Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Experience in Adult Audiology is beneficial.
- Community Audiology experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in supporting service development initiatives.
