The Skills Transition Centre (STC) project is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and highly organised Communications & Marketing Business Partner to build the project's profile and reputation, engage audiences and showcase the impact of this transformational project.

The STC is an ambitious Falkirk and Grangemouth Growth Deal project focused on addressing skills gaps, supporting the transition to net zero and helping industry respond to change within the Grangemouth Industrial Cluster. Working within the STC project team, you will create compelling content, deliver recruitment activity for STC course provision, deliver engaging events and tours, strengthen the project's digital presence, and promote exciting developments across STEM, Construction, digital transformation, and future skills.

The role

You will play a key role in shaping coordinating and delivering the STC Communication Plan, working closely with the STC Project Manager, Forth Valley College's Communications and Marketing Team, Growth Deal partners and a wide range of stakeholders.
Your work will span digital and social media, website content, campaigns, publications, events and media relations to enhance the visibility and reputation of the STC. You will help develop a distinctive and recognisable STC identity and digital presence, while ensuring communications are engaging, accessible and consistent with College, STC and Growth Deal branding and protocols.

What you will do

* Build the STC's profile and reputation with learners, employers, communities and stakeholders at local, regional and national level. Create engaging content for websites, social media, media releases and features, videos, newsletters, case studies and print materials.

* Support interactive events, tours, employer engagement and careers information sessions.

* Plan and deliver targeted campaigns that generate awareness, enquiries and recruitment to STC provision, strengthen employer and stakeholder engagement, and support opportunities for commercial and funded activity. Build positive relationships with colleagues, employers and industry, community partners, Growth Deal stakeholders, media contacts and suppliers.

* Monitor communications performance against agreed objectives, using audience feedback, campaign results and digital analytics to inform future activity

* Provide clear reporting updates on communications and marketing activity and impact.

About you

* You will be a confident and imaginative communicator who can turn complex or technical information into clear, accessible, and engaging content.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across multiple channels. Most importantly, you will be enthusiastic about promoting the STC's opportunities, achievements, and impact.

* Experience working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

* You will be comfortable presenting to a range of audiences and supporting events, visits, and engagement activities.
Essential requirements

* An HNC or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline, or relevant experience.

* Experience of planning and delivering online and offline communications and marketing activities.

* Experience creating content for websites, social media, media releases and features, and digital campaigns.

* Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
