Venue Sales Representative

About the role

Octopus Energy invites you to join our field sales team as a Venues Sales Representative. You will be at the frontline of our brand, engaging face‑to‑face with customers to promote our energy tariffs and low‑carbon technologies such as solar panels, heat pumps, and electric vehicles.

• Engage with customers at events, retail spaces, or door‑knocking in local communities to promote our energy tariffs and low‑carbon technologies.
• Introduce potential customers to Octopus Energy, comparing our service and products with other providers to help them make an informed choice.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in every conversation.

• Confidence and enthusiasm for engaging and exciting customers; sales experience is not required.
• High energy and ability to communicate confidently with potential customers.
• Experience in a customer‑centric setting where you have delivered quick and effective solutions.
• Team‑collaborative mindset to influence and inspire.
• Excellent listening, attention to detail, and clear communication.
• Honesty, focus, and commitment to delivering the highest levels of customer service.
• Valid driving licence to travel to venues across the UK.
• Availability to work weekend and evening shifts.

• £26,300 salary + unlimited commission (estimates over £10,000 per year).
