Overview

Your mission as a Recruitment Consultant is to achieve tangible and measurable results through communication with internal and external contacts of the Company. The role requires friendliness, assertiveness, and efficiency, with the ability to exceed expected targets. High-level negotiation, selling concepts and ideas, and building and retaining client relationships are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed gross profit (GP) targets for Permanent/Temporary recruitment.
  • Identify prospective clients, convert prospects into business, fill bookings while servicing clients.
  • Grow the desk in line with targets and drive business development to consistently grow margins.
  • Implement a sales strategy by sector and pursue new local business opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards of client and candidate care, promoting the Company’s vision, values, and aspirations.

Strategic focus includes:

  • Meet & Exceed personal and team financial targets.
  • Identify & Win new local business opportunities.
  • Retain & Increase margin-generating opportunities within existing customer base.
  • Future‑Proof local business.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Understanding of the recruitment sales cycle and ability to formulate and implement a sector‑specific sales strategy.
  • Proven sales and business development skills, including identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in communication, persuasion, and presentation.
  • Strong organisational skills (personal and team).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience working in the recruitment sector.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, database, and internet.
  • Flexible teamwork and efficient communication.
  • Self‑confident, enthusiastic, positive, self‑starting, active, alert, competitive, and ready to make sound business decisions.
