We are supporting a leading FM provider in recruiting a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their engineering team on a major static estate comprising multiple high-profile buildings. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking for stability, variety and a great work-life balance — with no on-call requirement.

The Role

As a Maintenance Electrician, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical maintenance, testing and reactive repairs across the full estate. You’ll work alongside mechanical, HVAC and fabric engineers, supporting both planned and reactive works to ensure the site operates safely and efficiently.

This role offers an excellent long-term opportunity within a well-established FM organisation and the chance to work on a unique and diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings

* Undertake testing, inspection and fault-finding on electrical systems

* Complete LV electrical work in line with regulations and safety procedures

* Support wider engineering teams including HVAC, mechanical and fabric functions

* Assist with small installation works, repairs and upgrades

* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, permits and H&S procedures

* Maintain accurate records, job sheets and compliance documentation

* Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues

Skills & Experience Required

* Recognised electrical qualifications (18th Edition minimum)

* Testing & Inspection qualificationor equivalent) highly desirable

* Strong LV electrical experience

* Background in FM, building services or commercial property maintenance

* Ability to carry out fault-finding and reactive repairs confidently

* Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills

* Commitment to safe working practices and compliance
