Position Summary
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Health Visitor with current practice experience to work on a full-time, permanent basis within the Health Visiting team based at Falkirk Central, Falkirk Community Hospital, NHS Forth Valley. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Health Visiting team, working with a varied client population including children and families with additional and complex needs.
The post covers the Falkirk area and contributes to the delivery of the Universal Health Visiting Pathway.
- Experience in caseload management, child protection and safeguarding.
- Experience working with families presenting with complex needs and delivering health improvement interventions.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the service area.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
