Accounting Manager – Base $130K + Bonus (Fully Onsite)

We manage full project life cycles—from audit and design through installation and measurement & verification, assuring long‑term energy savings for our clients.

The Accounting Manager leads day‑to‑day accounting operations and the monthly close for Resource Lighting & Energy, Inc., and is also responsible for the accounting of a sister company, Fulcrum Energy Solutions. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes in a project‑driven environment. The Accounting Manager partners closely with Operations and Project teams, supports audits and compliance requirements, and helps scale accounting practices as the company grows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month‑end close.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience or clear capability to lead/review others’ work.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with project accounting and revenue recognition.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
• Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced Knowledge of Quickbooks; online version a plus.

• Industry background in energy efficiency, ESCOs, construction, engineering services, or other project‑based businesses.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 and multi‑element/milestone contract accounting.
• Understanding of rebate/incentive accounting or performance‑guarantee structures.
