Radiology - Vascular & Interventional Physician

Shift Details: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (One weekend call per month)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist to join our team for maternity coverage at a small, community hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a broad range of interventional and diagnostic procedures and able to work efficiently in a supportive, fast-paced environment. This role will offer a variety of responsibilities with the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage for interventional and diagnostic radiology procedures, including biopsies, tube placements, angiograms, venograms, intercostal nerve blocks, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and more.
• Perform a wide range of imaging-guided procedures in a dedicated CT scanner, ultrasound room, and Angio suite.
• Support staff:
  Physician Assistant (PA) onsite to assist with minor procedures.
• Manage 10-12 patients per day.
• Utilize EPIC as the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Work with onsite X-ray and lab services for diagnostic support.
• Comfortable practicing in a small community hospital setting with a close-knit, collaborative team.
• Open to a flexible schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off if preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong background in Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology.
• Experience performing a variety of procedures, including angiograms, venograms, biopsies, and more.
• Ability to work independently in a small hospital environment.
• Comfortable with basic modalities and a range of interventional procedures.
• Prior experience using EPIC is a plus.
