We are seeking a highly skilled Control Application Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing HVAC building automation systems for commercial bid-spec and design-build projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC control systems and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Design automatic temperature control systems for bid-spec and design-build projects.
• Research all equipment to be controlled and determine the correct method for control and integration.
• Create Auto Cad point-to-point control diagrams.
• Develop sequence of operations to meet project specifications.
• Ensure the system remains within the estimated project cost.
• Assemble a bill of materials and equipment data sheets.
• Generate a submittal and collaborate with the customer to obtain system approval.
• Create project as-built control drawings and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in the Engineering field is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC controls engineering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems, including DDC, PLC, and BMS platforms.
• Experience working with major control manufacturers such as Honeywell, Distech, Johnson Controls, or Trane is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Willingness to travel as required for project needs.

This is a full-time 40-hour position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Position location will be located at the Fall River, MA offices.

This position requires the employee to work in a professional office environment and routinely use standard office equipment. Position will entail frequent sedentary work and occasional standing.
