In‑Home Behavior Therapist (IHBT):
Provide structured, strength‑based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home to treat youth behavior needs and support caregivers.
Behavior Technician
:
Implement behavior support plans, collect data, and report to the supervising BCBA to promote skill development and reduce problematic behavior.
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education, or a related CBHI‑approved program
- Minimum one year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting (highly desirable)
- Experience with children diagnosed with behavioral‑emotional disorders (preferred)
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum (desirable)
- Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Preferred experience implementing behavioral interventions in applied settings
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A compassionate approach to care
