Under the direction of the Director or Designee, perform diversified duties within and in support of the assigned Laboratory Section involving routine and complex analysis to produce quality and timely patient analysis to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and to contribute to the solvency, efficiency and growth of the hospital.

• Perform routine and complex laboratory analyses.
• Maintain quality and accuracy of patient results.
• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Support laboratory operations to ensure efficiency and growth.

• BA/BS Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent (minimum 36 semester hours in biology and physical sciences) and up to one year of related work experience.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT (ASCP) or comparable agency approved by the National Commission for Health Certification) required within two years of hire; maintain certification thereafter.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19 or be exempt by signing a statement certifying exemption.

• Hours:
  
  40 hours per week.
• Shift: Day shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation; 6:30 am, 7:00 am, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm.
• Location:
  
  Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA.

USD $35.70 – $46.75 per hour.

Every other weekend and holiday.
