Direct Care Professional R73 role at People Incorporated
Locations include Mansfield, Taunton, Fall River and surrounding areas. Openings are available for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Part-time, full-time, and relief/per diem positions are available. There are on-the-job paid training opportunities and career advancement options.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be part of a team supporting adults with development disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes:
- Individual community outings
- Meal preparation
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Personal care
- Medical appointments
- Medication distribution
You will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples include movies, shopping, dinner, baseball games and bowling.
What You Need to Join- Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone’s life
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Qualifying criminal background check and driving record
- Valid driver’s license; use of your personal vehicle
- TB screening and physical required upon hire and TB update every two years after
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour. $21.00 per hour after one year of benefit-eligible employment.
Schedule:
Sunday 9am-11pm, Monday 3pm-11pm, Wednesday 3pm-11pm, Thursday 3pm-11pm.
