We are searching for a talented Ultrasound Technologist.

Location:

Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA (off‑site coverage as part of scheduled shifts)

Schedule:

Regular Part‑Time, 24 flex 32 hrs

Shift: Day/Evening shift; will be included in department weekend, on call, and holiday coverage rotation.
New hire: $8,000 sign‑on bonus (rehires more than 1 year also eligible).

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patient chart and document all data within the EHR.

Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Be aware of the principles of ALARA and MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.

• Successful completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology and attainment of primary certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, the Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Sonography is required.
• Registration with the ARDMS, the CCI, or the ARRT is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• RDMS required; RVT preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or be exempt with a signed statement certifying the exemption.

USD $38.89 – USD $60.60 / hr.

Weekend, on‑call, and holiday rotation.
