Hours:

40hrs, Day shift (8:00am - 4:30pm).

Under supervision, performs medical assisting duties within and in support of Southcoast Physicians Group clinics. Assists providers, facilitates patient flow, communicates with patients, updates electronic medical records, maintains confidentiality, and may provide medical interpretation in other languages.

• High school diploma or equivalent plus specialized training
• National certification (AMCA, AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NCMA) required at hire or by March 31, 2017
• Completion of Medical Assistant Program or equivalent experience
• BLS certification
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
• One year of medical assistance experience preferred
• Fluency in another language and medical interpreting skills preferred
• Must be vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an exemption

USD $17.05 - USD $28.28 per hour
