Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and other radiographic equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

• Perform radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any concerns or complications
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images
• Maintain patient records and document imaging procedures in compliance with hospital policies
• Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self
• Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and best practices

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• State licensure as required by local regulations
• Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment

• Prior experience as a Radiology Technologist in hospital or outpatient settings
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Advanced training in specialized imaging procedures (e.g., fluoroscopy, mammography, or interventional radiology)

• ARRT Certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred
