Healthcare Regional Operations Manager – Novella Infusion (Massachusetts and Rhode Island)

OI Infusion, launched in 2018, is a leading infusion management service organization (MSO) and operator of a network of multi‑site ambulatory specialty infusion centers. The company provides staffing, operational management, and revenue‑cycle services to physician practices, allowing specialty groups to deliver infusion services in a comfortable, convenient, and affordable setting. the Role

As Regional Operations Manager you will lead, direct, and manage 10–12 ambulatory infusion centers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. You will ensure each site exceeds clinical, customer‑service, financial, and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Senior Regional Operations Director, you will play a critical role in operational leadership, compliance, patient satisfaction, and staff development.

Massachusetts:
Duxbury, West Yarmouth, Bourne, Weymouth, Taunton, Fall River;
Rhode Island:
Warwick, East Providence, Lincoln.

Pay

$80,000–$110,000, based on direct experience, plus up to 10% annual bonus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of 10–15 ambulatory infusion centers, including clinical, operational, and financial aspects.
    • Implement and uphold policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure efficient and effective clinical program management.
  • Leadership and Team Development
    • Hire, onboard, retain, and manage performance of employees.
    • Lead a team of 25+ clinical and administrative staff (Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Administrative Assistants).
    • Cultivate a culture of accountability, professional growth, and high performance.
  • Clinical Excellence & Patient/Provider Experience
    • Maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction across all sites.
    • Collaborate with clinical leadership on quality improvement initiatives.
    • Partner with Sales and Territory Managers to sustain provider relationships.
    • Resolve escalated patient concerns and implement process improvements.
    • Lead quality assurance meetings with Medical Directors.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Leverage data and analytics to drive operational effectiveness and meet KPIs.
    • Coordinate intake, inventory, and billing to support operational needs.
    • Develop action plans to improve performance and meet organizational standards.

      Manage facility readiness, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strategic Planning and Growth
    • Partner with the Novella Growth team for regional opportunities.
    • Support new center implementation and expansion of services.
    • Use regional performance data to inform strategic staffing.
    • Align site‑level goals and metrics with corporate objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (HIPAA, OSHA).
    • Guide clinics through accreditation processes.
    • Continuously improve care quality at infusion suites.
  • Other Duties – Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work Environment
    • Hybrid model: remote with on‑site presence at clinics 4 days per week.
    • Travel: 80% local travel within assigned region.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 4 years in healthcare operations (preferably in infusion, oncology, or ambulatory services).
    • Proven experience managing multi‑site operations and overseeing clinical and administrative staff.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication.
    • High analytical aptitude with sound judgment.
    • Thrives in an ownership‑driven environment.
    • Adapts quickly to changing workflows.
