The Director of Behavioral Health Services provides strategic, programmatic, and clinical leadership for the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and CBHI Program. This role has enterprise-level oversight of Intake and Health Services, ensuring operational alignment, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance. The Director leads workforce development through direct coaching, supervision, and training of clinicians, interns, and coordinators, while driving continuous improvement across service delivery models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall programmatic and clinical oversight for the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and CBHI Program.
  • Deliver programmatic supervision to the Intake and Health Services departments to ensure seamless access and continuity of care.
  • Coach, mentor, and train clinicians, interns, the Intake Coordinator, and the Health Services Coordinator to maximize performance and clinical outcomes.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor annual program goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Oversee utilization review processes to ensure quality, compliance, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Lead interviewing, selection, and hiring for designated program areas, with a focus on talent optimization.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards; proactively manage audits and reviews.

  • Demonstrated leadership in driving change, integrating new initiatives, and scaling evidence-based and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to influence across disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant clinical/database systems.
  • Strength-based, family-centered approach to building respectful and effective relationships with youth and families.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
