Facility Supervisor

Overview

Facility Supervisor role at FMC Ice Sports. Full-time seasonal (August - April) position working in both the Fall River and New Bedford locations. The Facility Supervisor reports to the General Manager or Arena Manager and may work alone or with other staff as required by the facility schedule. Work schedule includes nights, weekends and some holidays to meet the needs of patrons.

Eligible for medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401K and earned time after eligibility period met.

• Maintain and secure facility.
• Make and maintain ice surface and maintain arena facilities.
• Complete and maintain required logs.
• Ensure facilities are cleaned on a regular basis.
• Scheduling and payroll as determined by the General/Arena Manager.
• Training of new hires in coordination with the General/Arena Manager and Operations Personnel.
• Oversight of the on-site staff, including Facility Operators and Facility Support Staff.
• Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for both internal and external customers.

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Driver's License.
• One (1) year work experience in an ice arena or similar organization, with some exposure to the operations and maintenance functions; knowledge of equipment is preferred but not required.
• Experience with ice resurface rs is preferred, but training can be provided.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to analyze situations and develop solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a variety of individuals and groups interested in recreational matters.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.

Base pay range: $24 - $28 per hour. Eligible for an annual increase of 2% - 4% based on performance. Eligible for year-end discretionary bonus. Individual compensation packages are based upon factors unique to each candidate.
