THIS POSITION IS THIRD SHIFT, START TIME IS 10PM.

The Packaging Technician I position is responsible for the continuous and “trouble free” running of Lidder Machines, Palletizer Machines, or Label Spooler incorporated within the Cup Pack out processing department.

• Read and understand daily production schedule.
• Communicate with Data Clerks and Management about necessary materials and machine malfunctions.
• Ability to hand palletize, follow pallet configurations, monitor number of pallets.
• Understand basic math and maintain clear handwriting.
• Diagnose issues within the Palletizer machine, clear cup jams and breakdowns, understand how to use the screen and get the machine back up and running.
• Learn all aspects of Palletizer Machine, with the ability to teach others key primary adjustments.
• Identify product variation to set up machinery in a timely manner.
• Operate Walkie Stack after proper training and certifications.

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
