Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit at Client.

The RN will provide care for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including cardiac monitoring and telemetry support.

This role requires clinical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and condition.
• Administer medications and treatments, including drips such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Morphine for comfort care.
• Initiate and manage TPN therapy.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families.
• Respond to medical emergencies and escalate appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records using Cerner EMR.
• Float to other units within similar acuity levels as needed.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and infection control standards.
• Wear navy blue scrubs as per unit requirements.

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Telemetry nursing.
• Experience with Cerner EMR.
• Willingness to float to other units and support holiday/weekend coverage.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
