Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit at Client.
The RN will provide care for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including cardiac monitoring and telemetry support.
This role requires clinical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and condition.
- Administer medications and treatments, including drips such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Morphine for comfort care.
- Initiate and manage TPN therapy.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families.
- Respond to medical emergencies and escalate appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records using Cerner EMR.
- Float to other units within similar acuity levels as needed.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and infection control standards.
- Wear navy blue scrubs as per unit requirements.
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Telemetry nursing.
- Experience with Cerner EMR.
- Willingness to float to other units and support holiday/weekend coverage.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
