Position PurposeThe BCD Account Representative II initiates, develops, and maintains superior business and consulting relationships with medium and strategic commercial, industrial, and municipal customers, developers, and vendors. The goal is to grow, service, retain accounts, and ensure customer loyalty to Liberty. This includes influencing customers to convert to natural gas and/or electricity (dependent on jurisdiction), and to take full advantage of the company’s energy efficiency programs.
Responsibilities include responding to service calls, promoting load and energy efficiency projects, basic project management, and other account management duties. The role involves developing skills to recognize customer needs and provide innovative solutions.
- Work directly with large and strategic customers to assess opportunities and develop comprehensive sales proposals.
- Identify and sell energy efficiency opportunities.
- Represent the company at local/regional trade and business shows.
- Serve as a point of contact for shared accounts in each region.
- Act as a trusted contact for medium and strategic customers, providing direct communication and support.
- Advocate for customer needs within internal departments, resolving issues and improving satisfaction.
- Participate in community events, outreach, and permit processes.
- Input all sales leads and opportunities into the company CRM system.
- Manage energy efficiency leads and wins in the CRM system.
- College or professional program of 3 years or less
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with CRM and SAP systems
