Air Masters is a well-established commercial HVAC company looking for an experienced Licensed HVAC Mechanic
. We service Southeast MA and RI, providing installation, maintenance, and repair of all makes and models of HVAC equipment. The role is primarily service-oriented but also includes installations of RTUs, Heat Pumps and VRF equipment. Pay is based on experience and certifications, and the position involves a significant amount of prevailing wage work.

- Minimum 3 years commercial HVAC service experience
- Minimum 3 years HVAC system installation experience
- Motivated and enjoys working in the HVAC industry
- Journeyman refrigeration license in either MA or RI
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- EPA universal certification
- Valid driver's license
- Makes and uses hand tools
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma
- Skills in controls installation and troubleshooting or willingness to learn
- MA or RI Refrigeration knowledge (preferred)
This position requires working both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to loud noises, hot and cold temperatures, and variable work sites.
Positions Type and Expected Hours of WorkFull-time, 40-hour week. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
TravelDaily travel to job sites throughout MA and RI.
Physical Demands- Lifting weight up to and over 75 lbs (vertical and horizontal)
- Crawl, stoop, stand, reach, push, pull, and bend as needed
- Use extension and step ladders, and stairs
- Drive a company vehicle and walk around job sites
- Read, input, type, and answer calls
- Good vision over 20 ft and under 20 inches; depth perception and color vision
- Adjust eye focus as required
- Work outdoors, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain
- Operate in dusty environments
