HVAC​/R Mechanic

Air Masters is a well-established commercial HVAC company looking for an experienced Licensed HVAC Mechanic
. We service Southeast MA and RI, providing installation, maintenance, and repair of all makes and models of HVAC equipment. The role is primarily service-oriented but also includes installations of RTUs, Heat Pumps and VRF equipment. Pay is based on experience and certifications, and the position involves a significant amount of prevailing wage work.

• Minimum 3 years commercial HVAC service experience
• Minimum 3 years HVAC system installation experience
• Motivated and enjoys working in the HVAC industry
• Journeyman refrigeration license in either MA or RI
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• EPA universal certification
• Valid driver's license
• Makes and uses hand tools
• Good communication skills
• High school diploma
• Skills in controls installation and troubleshooting or willingness to learn
• MA or RI Refrigeration knowledge (preferred)

This position requires working both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to loud noises, hot and cold temperatures, and variable work sites.

Full-time, 40-hour week. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Daily travel to job sites throughout MA and RI.

• Lifting weight up to and over 75 lbs (vertical and horizontal)
• Crawl, stoop, stand, reach, push, pull, and bend as needed
• Use extension and step ladders, and stairs
• Drive a company vehicle and walk around job sites
• Read, input, type, and answer calls
• Good vision over 20 ft and under 20 inches; depth perception and color vision
• Adjust eye focus as required
• Work outdoors, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain
• Operate in dusty environments
