Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) (Temporary)

Compass One Healthcare (Morrison Healthcare) is hiring temporary Patient Dining Associates at Progress West – 2 Progress Point Parkway, O Fallon, MO 63368. Online applications are accepted and will remain open until all openings are filled.

Patient Dining Associates support assigned units in a healthcare facility by helping patients select, assemble, deliver, and retrieve meals. They work with nursing, culinary staff, and dietitians to ensure accurate meals are served on time and meet dietary restrictions.

• Assist patients with menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to provide alternatives for food allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays from patient rooms on schedule.
• Adhere to federal, state, and JCAHO standards, HIPAA policies, and confidentiality requirements.
• Follow HACCP guidelines while handling food and cleaning stations.
• Observe infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on liquid diets or specific calorie counts.
• Communicate concerns or problems to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete required daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
• Comply with health, sanitation, and sanitation procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Capability to lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts as needed.

Fixed Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.
