Bagger​/Debagger - 1st Shift

Hours - Monday - Friday 6:00am-230pm

Pay - $26.10/hour

Must join union - Teamsters Local 50

Need to be flexible and able to work overtime as needed

Performs production operation duties to ensure quality products are produced, packaged, and prepared for delivery to customers in a safe manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Load and debag bottles as needed to support production.

• Visually inspect bottles placed on the line for production and remove damaged bottles.
• Bag all bottles not used for production and move to storage as required.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging ofproduct.
• Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
• Assist in performing changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist in preparing equipment for next run to include size changes asneeded.
• Ensure proper code dates and monitor ink jet printers.
• Complete cleaning checklist and assist in performing sanitation of equipment.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe workarea.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.
• Maintain reliable attendance and consistent workhours.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, andbend
• Must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and occasionally 75pounds
• Must be able to work for extended periods in a cold, damp environment
