Automotive Technician - We are seeking a knowledgeable, responsible and communicative Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, keep detailed records of work performed, and stay current with the latest automotive technology and industry standards. This position requires both working independently and contributing to overall team goals.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Perform diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid top-offs
• Execute repairs on various vehicle systems, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and more
• Utilize computerized diagnostic systems to interpret error codes and troubleshoot complex problems
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide cost estimates, and address inquiries
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all services performed and repairs made
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and continuously enhance your skills through training

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and mechanics
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications or equivalent qualifications preferred but not required
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose and repair issues
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve lifting heavy parts and working in various positions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires
