Part time Substitute Nanny

Overview

Jovie is looking for upbeat, engaging babysitters to provide support to loving local families while caring for children of all ages. This role involves working 3-5 full days a week (Monday–Friday), totaling 20-40 hours per week. Overtime is available. You will organize outdoor activities, sing songs, read books, encourage imaginative play, and assist with naps, meals, and daily schedules. Each day you will make a difference in a child’s (and a parent’s) life.

Jovie is a nationally recognized provider of in-home childcare with a supportive team to assist you whenever needed.

• Provide engaging supervision and age-appropriate activities for children of all ages.
• Organize outdoor activities, songs, reading, and imaginative play.
• Manage naps, meals, and daily schedules.
• Be a reliable and caring partner to families, ensuring child safety at all times.

• Fluent in English
• Currently reside in the United States
• Ability to provide documents to complete an I-9 and be legally employed
• Available to work 5 days a week (Monday–Friday) within 7am–7pm; shifts will not be 12 hours
• 2+ years of childcare experience (paid or unpaid) with at least two glowing references and one character reference
• Safe and reliable vehicle; current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to become certified)
• Commitment to child safety and active engagement during time with children
