Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist
The division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia is seeking a pediatric hematologist-oncologist to join an existing group of attending physicians and advanced practice practitioners providing outpatient and inpatient care.
Pediatric Specialists of Virginia is a multi-specialty pediatric group based in Northern Virginia and is jointly owned by Children’s National Hospital and Inova Fairfax Hospital. Our team participates in Children’s Oncology Group (COG) trials through Children’s National and INOVA Children’s.
The program has comprehensive multidisciplinary clinics for oncology, hemophilia and bleeding disorders, sickle cell disease, neuro-oncology and cancer survivorship. Inpatient services are covered by our team at Inova L. J. Murphy Children's Hospital (formerly Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children), a full-service children’s hospital with an ACGME accredited pediatric residency program, complete subspecialty support, as well as pediatric radiation oncology and proton beam center.
We are seeking an outstanding clinician educator with a passion for clinical medicine, bedside teaching, and intellectual curiosity to join our team. Opportunities for participation in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives and other academic endeavors are available and encouraged. Academic appointments are available through George Washington University School of Medicine.
Qualified candidates must hold an M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree, and be ABP board certified/eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. We offer attractive and competitive compensation terms with incentives and generous benefits.
