Falls Church, VA

• Conduct one‑on‑one, group, and family psycho‑educational and process groups.
• Develop treatment plans and attend treatment planning meetings and reviews on an ongoing basis.
• Assess environment and patient’s safety status; report and respond to actual and potential safety issues or changes in the patient's condition.
• Identify risk factors, screening criteria, and interventions for patients with special precautions (e.g., suicide, homicide, falls, elopement).
• Complete assessments, group notes, and all other documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements, as appropriate to scope.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate patients’ discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge.
• Conduct post‑discharge follow‑up as indicated.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Licensed as a therapist (state licence required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an adult PHP therapist.
