Job Description

Contract to Perm, $20/hr, with a maximum salary of $50,000/yr for a permanent role.

This position will support our client in Merrifield, VA.

The candidate must be able to obtain Sensitive clearance prior to start.

The candidate will support the ICP (Information Catalog Program), which serves as the eDiscovery unit for the client, General Counsel, Office of the Inspector General, Postal Inspection Service, FOIA Office, and other entities through the retrieval, preservation, and delivery of pertinent electronically stored information.

The contractor will perform duties under the direct supervision of a Program Manager, including:

Maintain the ICP Mailbox - print out email requests/cases.

Create folders upon receiving email requests/cases and documents from Attorneys, Office of Inspection General, Inspection Service, and PCES Manager.

Log requests/cases onto a spreadsheet to track status and update as needed.

In PCTS (time tracking system), create a Task name/number to track and enter time spent creating and processing requests/cases for monthly reports.

Provide electronic information (emails, internet usage, data, and telephone records) using archiving systems when requested by USPS Attorneys, Office of Inspection General, Inspection Service, and PCES Manager.

Create a case manifest to track activities and enter them into a customized tracking system for monthly reports.

Analyze electronic data and related metrics for requests by Attorneys, OIG, and Managers.

Perform other job-related tasks in support of primary duties as needed.

Be self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal guidance.
