Position: ServiceNow Developer with Security Clearance

Service Now Developer with Security Clearance

Cohere is seeking a Service Now Developer to support our client with design, creation, deployment, and maintenance of multiple Service Now applications supporting the Intelligence Community.

What You'll Get to Do
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the Service Now platform including ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, CSM, Service Portal, HR Module, Asset Management, Change Management, Custom Development, and more.
  • Write code, perform unit tests, conduct code reviews, check in code, and help build the code pipeline for continuous integration/continuous delivery.
  • Customize Service Now applications, facilitate rollout of new applications and modules, and configure application UI, workflow, and API.
  • Create and maintain configuration management on the Service Now platform across all environments.
  • Collaborate with other Service Now administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.
  • Consult with Mission Partners to define their information technology goals and advise on re‑engineering of business processes to meet those goals.
  • Provide expertise in standards and validations (e.g., ISO 9000).
  • Facilitate group training, interviews, and other knowledge transfer activities.
  • Coordinate with multiple project teams to ensure enterprise‑wide integration of re‑engineering efforts.
  • Champion awareness training and implementation of business processes.
  • Develop process documentation, testing workflows, and work plans.
  • Lead workflow presentations to leadership and Mission Partners as required.
  • Work independently and proactively to develop solutions and solve business problems using Service Now.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI With Fullscope Poly Clearance (required).
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in an IT-related field (6 years of related experience), Masters with 4 years of experience, or an Associates with 8 years of experience.
  • Backend development experience with C#, Java, Node.js, Python, Go, and Ruby.
  • Service Now experience and Service Now developer certification.
  • Understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with industry partners.
  • Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately.
  • Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor.
  • Experience in Scrum and Agile frameworks for development, including task management, stand‑ups, sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation.
Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Configuration Management experience.
  • Configuration Management certifications.
  • Other Service Now certifications.
  • Graphics design or UX/UI design experience.
