MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT- Build and customize applications on the Service Now platform, including ITSM modules like Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Connect the Service Now platform with other systems and applications using technologies like REST/SOAP.
- Create custom scripts, including Business Rules and Script Includes, to automate processes and meet business requirements
- Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management, system maintenance, and health checks
- Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality
- Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products
- Contribute to IT-related technical processes reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvement
Bring your development expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. Our Service Now Developer must have:
- Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance
- Required Technical Skills and
Qualifications: - 5+ years software development experience
- Experience with Service Now's data management tools such as Import Sets, Transform Maps, and the CMDB
- Experience in developing and customizing Service Now Platform applications and modules, especially ITSM
- Proficiency with integration methods like SOAP, REST, and web services, including creating and consuming them
- Strong scripting skills with at least one language - preferably Java Script
- Education: BS Degree
- Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in designing, creating, and maintaining workflows and custom applications.
- Strong skills in creating and managing complex workflows using Flow Designer and other Service Now workflow tools.
- Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective technical solutions.
- Excellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test to integration to production deployment
- Ability to identify, understand, document, and create functionality aligning with customer value streams
- Strong organizational and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment
- Ability to identify and learn new technologies quickly
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Certifications: - Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Service Now Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS - ITSM)
- Location: Remote
- US Citizenship Required
Certifications:
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM)
- Experience supporting DoD classified systems in IL5 or IL6 environments

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
