Position: Project Leader - Falls Church, VA with Security Clearance

As the Project Leader, based in Falls Church, VA, you will be part of an established team of PMPs, that work closely with the customer to deliver effective project management plans, WBS, POAM and authoritative analysis, for very senior leaders.

Serco provides project management services and support for Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) projects and other regional initiatives in support of BUMED. In this role, you will:
* Under the direction of the BUMED Improvement Science Office, apply PMBOK Project Management practices across all life cycle phases of projects in support of Fleet and Marine Corps related efforts in various organizations throughout the Navy Medicine Enterprise, to include work associated with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.

* Provide project performance reporting and participate in adoption of Knowledge Proliferation and Methodology.

* Support the management of 3-5 projects simultaneously with each project lasting 3-18 months.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* An active or current DoD Secret Clearance.

* US Citizenship.

* A Bachelor's Degree

* An Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

* 5 years of experience.

* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

* Knowledge and experience in project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring & controlling, and project closure

* Knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps operational environments.

* Eligibility for Common Access Card (CAC) supported by background investigation.

* Proficiency in Microsoft skills especially Excel and PowerPoint.

* Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Additional desired experience and skills:
* Navy Medicine, Defense Health Agency, or other federal healthcare experience
* Navy and/or Marine Corps staff experience
* Familiarity with SharePoint and SPIDR

* Familiarity with the PPBE process

* Competence with the MS Office 365 suite of applications
