Job Description: Inova Fairfax Hospital / Inova L.J Children’s Hospital is looking for an experienced NICU RN. The schedule is full time (3x12) rotating day and night shifts: 6 weeks day shift, 6 weeks night shift, or full time night shift. Day and night shift required for orientation.

Department Specific Information: Inova L.J. Murphy’s Children’s Hospital is home to the largest, most comprehensive subspecialty neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in the region. Our 108-bed, Level IV NICU cares for high-risk infants requiring specialized care and observation. The NICU is also the first in the nation to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ for Prematurity. This certification represents the highest level of care for premature birth patients.

• Experience – 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, 1 year of NICU RN experience required.
• Certification – Basic Life Support through AHA.
• Licensure – Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Education – BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
