Asset Protection Associates are responsible for the protection of company s retail store assets by investigating the loss of asset(s) including merchandise, money and property. This role is responsible for preventing loss and shrink within their assigned stores through monitoring, investigating, surveillance and other LP tactics to include apprehending shoplifters.

• Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents.
• Primary contact for safety and security issues for stores in the area of responsibility.
• Tour stores daily to identify deficiencies and execute corrective action as necessary.
• Maintain awareness of high risk areas to reduce or control merchandise losses.
• Review shrink best practices and execution of shrink reduction strategy drivers on store visits. Check areas such as rotation, backroom organization and additional follow up areas assigned by supervision.
• Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities seen in assigned stores.

• High School Diploma
• Driver s License & transportation required – travel throughout multiple stores in a District and/or Region required
• Up to one year of related experience
• Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation related information
• Basic skills in MS Office
