All About Specialty SalesSpecialty Sales consultants offer personalized suggestions and solutions, using active selling and compelling visual merchandising to inspire guests and increase basket value. The team works across Apparel & Accessories (A&A), Beauty, and Electronics, blending guest experience with tasks such as pulling, filling, pricing, setting, staging, and backroom management.

- Retail business fundamentals: sales trends, inventory management, pricing, and promotion strategies.
- Planning and scheduling to support business priorities and sales goals.
- Managing multiple specialty areas while balancing team member expertise.

- Hiring, leading, and developing hourly team members and leaders.
- Recruiting, selecting, and talent management for hourly positions.
- Drive total store sales and understand how departments impact profitability.
- Create a guest‑obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience and meets sales goals.
- Develop and adjust schedules to align with guest traffic and business needs.
- Plan merchandising, pricing, and promotions for the A&A, Beauty, and Electronics departments.
- Analyze competition and use guest insights to position the store as the destination of choice.
- Maintain a flexible schedule that includes evenings, overnight shifts, and weekends.
- Recruit, develop, and coach team members and leaders, ensuring product knowledge and skill gaps are closed.
- Lead performance management, accountability, and a culture of ethical conduct.
- Respond to store needs such as emergencies and regulatory visits.
- Execute safe and secure training processes.
- Perform all other duties as business needs require.
- 4‑year degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Business acumen and the ability to manage ambiguity.
