As a Security Guard - Flex Armed Healthcare in Falls Church, VA
, you will safeguard clients across healthcare and other industries. As a Flex Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and interact with staff, patients, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and support the protection of people and property.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Interact professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to address questions, provide directions, and offer assistance as needed.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and promptly communicate any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Carry and maintain responsibility for assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with company and site‑specific guidelines.

• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• At least six months of security‑related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Hospital‑specific vaccines are required.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
