Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Full-Time in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
You will remain visible, respond to situations as needed, and provide exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
- Support law enforcement, fire, and/or medical personnel during emergency situations at the location.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Vaccination is required for work at this hospital site.
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
