Senior HVAC Technician

Senior HVAC Technician (3 to 5 Years)

Nelson's HVAC, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to help us provide exceptional service to our customers.

• Perform detailed inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues.
• Repair or replace defective HVAC equipment, components, or wiring.
• Install new HVAC systems, including setting up and wiring of thermostats and other controls.
• Conduct tests after repairs and maintenance to ensure systems are working correctly and safely.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing on-the-job training.
• Communicate complex HVAC issues to non-technical clients, providing advice on maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the standards of local and national safety codes.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer queries related to HVAC systems and equipment.
• Handle urgent or emergency calls for HVAC issues, including troubleshooting and fixing problems promptly.

• Extensive experience in the HVAC industry.
• Excellent technical skills, including in-depth knowledge of HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a detail‑oriented approach to work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A commitment to adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Flexibility for a rotating schedule, including on‑call work every other Saturday.

We offer competitive pay between $24 to $30 per hour, plus commissions on sales. After one year of employment, employees are eligible for medical insurance benefits and our company's retirement plan. After six months, five days of paid time off (PTO) is earned. Professional development opportunities and training seminars are offered after three months of employment.
