Production Lab Technician; Sample Preparation- Where Supports Planet

Overview

This role supports environmental stewardship and continuous improvement through hands-on laboratory and production work.

To support laboratory and production operations by preparing, weighing, processing, and recording material samples accurately and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Weigh and prepare material samples for processing
• Record accurate measurements and data in tracking systems
• Support grinding, blending, and size reduction activities
• Assist with sample inventory management and organization
• Maintain clean work areas, equipment, and tools to avoid contamination
• Follow safety standards and PPE requirements at all times
• Work efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail
• Stand, walk, and lift materials up to 50 pounds during the shift

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic math skills, including measurement and conversions
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift in a production environment
• Comfort working in an area with heat, dust, and noise
• Comfortable wearing required PPE
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Team oriented, reliable, and safety focused

• Employment in this position requires strict adherence to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and compliance with the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program
• Candidates must meet all eligibility and compliance requirements to be considered for this role

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

  Onsite only in the Production Laboratory area

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance available the first of the month following 30 days of employment

• Dollar for dollar match up to 3 percent
• Fifty cents on the dollar for the next 2 percent
• Up to 80 hours of vacation per year and up to 56 hours of Sick and Personal Leave (SPL)
• Holiday pay plus a personal holiday and two community days
