- Full time employment plus potential overtime. Employees are paid at an hourly rate plus time and one-half for overtime hours worked.
- Work weeks can vary from 5-8 hour days to 4-10 hour days for the employee’s regular schedule.
- Health, Eye, Dental, Life, AD&D and short-term disability benefits after waiting period.
- Eligible for company-provided uniforms after waiting period, if applicable.
- Eligible for paid time off (PTO) after waiting period.
- Eligible to participate in 401(k) and receive company contributions after waiting period.
- Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel trucks.
- Service light service equipment and light trucks.
- Perform repairs including but not limited to hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, electrical, and emission systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Adaptable to changing work environments, competing demands, and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Minimum 3 years experience troubleshooting and repairing problems with heavy diesel trucks.
- Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.
- Employees must provide their own tools and locking tool box.
- Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required.
- Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50-75 lbs. for short distances.
