Overview
Falmouth High School seeks a Long-Term Teacher Substitute (Certified) for a math classroom from approximately mid-October, 2025 to mid-February 2026. We are looking for someone who is a collaborative team player, technologically savvy, and passionate about nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of math skills for high school students.
Responsibilities- Teaching five sections of math courses - Algebra and Geometry
- Coordinate with the Math Content Leader and utilize common planning time with colleagues
- Maintain accurate records on student progress
- Implement the school’s Advisory programming as an advisor to a group of students
- Comply with, and support, school policies and procedures
- A valid Maine Department of Education teaching certificate with mathematics endorsement is required
- Experience working with high school students
- Approved background check (run by the district)
- Teacher Scale - BA, Step 0, per diem rate. This position does not include benefits.
