Lead Structural Design Engineer – Enterprise Engineering Inc.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Structural Design Engineer with extensive knowledge in API above-ground storage tank design and repair, particularly related to DoD fuel systems. The ideal candidate will possess an API 653 certification and a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.

• Lead structural engineering efforts for the design, inspection, and repair of above-ground fuel storage tanks.
• Prepare engineering calculations for the structural design of concrete foundations, steel POL storage tanks, structures, pipe supports, equipment, and maintenance platforms, and industrial buildings.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing tanks to identify structural and hydraulic deficiencies and prepare inspection reports, including recommending appropriate repair solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative, cost‑effective design solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and project teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to above-ground tank design and repair.

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through a comprehensive background check.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing and able to travel periodically to project locations, domestically and internationally.

• Advanced knowledge and application of design software.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).

• Work predominantly in an office environment. Occasional outside work in various conditions.
• Travel independently for varying periods, both domestic and international.
• Lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Sit or stand for sustained periods.
• Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and similar.
• Walk, stand, crouch on uneven surfaces.
