Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversees Service Department and provides leadership and direction to achieve company objectives
  • Manage growth strategies that are in line with company goals and objectives
  • Participate in the preparation and administration of the annual operating budget
  • Promotes harmony and teamwork within and across all departments
  • Participate in the preparation of marketing plans to attract new and repeat business
  • Adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations impacting operations
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, termination, training, and yearly performance evaluations for all service personnel
  • Develop efficient service team including service advisors, shop and mobile service technicians
  • Ensure quality control to meet customer satisfaction and comply with OEM and industry standards
  • Understand and promote safety, environmental and company policies
  • Promote and uphold a high standard of professionalism within the workplace
  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate productivity and financial goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and make adjustments as necessary
  • Engage in company provided training and education to stay updated on operational, technical, and strategic needs for excellent customer service
  • Assist service advisors and parts personnel with job scheduling, preparing quotes, and handling customer interactions
Position Requirements
  • A minimum of five years of relevant dealership management experience in the areas of heavy‑duty truck, bus, and/or transport refrigeration service
  • Understanding of fundamental business systems, financial principles, and practices
  • Facilitate relationships with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers
  • Proficient with computer operation/usage
  • Demonstrates exceptional skills in problem‑solving, administration, and management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Normal shift hours:
    Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional after hours phone support as needed
