Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Strategic Accounts Coordinator at Southworth
. The position is based at Southworth International Group, Inc. (SIGI) headquarters in Falmouth, Maine. You will play a pivotal role in driving success for our valued clients, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support strategic initiatives, and help turn big-picture goals into real-world results.
Sales and Client Support
- Provide sales and operational support for Strategic Accounts, ensuring timely communication with partners, end users, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to qualify leads, prepare quotes, and guide customers to product solutions.
- Act as the primary contact for Strategic Account orders, managing approvals, updates, and inquiries.
- Support onboarding of new clients and assist with presentations, business reviews, and post-sale follow-ups.
- Act as a resource for internal teams, fielding inquiries from service, engineering, and sales.
- Assist with trade shows, technical questions, and special projects as needed.
Project and Order Coordination
- Manage project timelines and deliverables from quote to shipment, coordinating across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and Finance.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track outstanding quotes, lead times, and order changes.
- Coordinate logistics for client meetings and internal planning sessions.
Forecasting & Planning
- Manage the strategic accounts inputs for SIOPs (sales, inventory and operations planning) process.
- Maintain real-time tracking documents for bookings and shipments used in strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales of industrial material handling products would be considered an asset
- Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and influence skills with clear, succinct, and professional communications
- Ability to work independently and take initiative under minimal supervision
- Proven critical thinking skills
- Solid team-building skills
- Optimistic with a can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Works well under pressure
