Summary: Service technicians are a critical piece of Cunningham customer service. Service technicians are responsible for keeping our customers systems functioning properly. This is critical for customers to protect their homes and businesses. The job has a lot of variety and includes everything from adding devices, to troubleshooting programming to changing batteries.

Cunningham needs technicians with skillsets in both intrusion and fire. We have a variety of technologies in both lines of business so the wider your skillset the better.

As a face of the company, it is important that you have both good technical skills and good customer service skills. Politeness and a clean and neat presentation are key.What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot system issues and identify programming errors.
• Install or add devices to existing systems.
• Diagnose and repair wiring and communication problems.
• Respond to service calls and critical trouble alerts.
• Change system batteries and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of service, materials, and findings.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Cunningham with professionalism.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience as a security/fire alarm service technician.
• NICET certification required.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be able to lift up to 80lbs and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Clean background check and valid driver’s license.
